Training Resources In Partnership - North Sound
Training Resources In Partnership - North Sound (TRIP-NS) is a parent-driven network that supports parents of children with complex needs. We assist families in finding the right path for their individual situations, in systems that are often difficult to navigate through.
TRIP will:
Support and empower families raising children and youth with complex needs.
Increase involvement and participation of families in the development of their child or youth's service plan, and course of treatment.
Assist family groups in the development of system partnerships.
TRIP will accomplish this by:
Establishing Support Groups in order to support parents of children with complex needs.
Providing training so parents can effectively advocate for their children by partnering with existing programs.
Encouraging and supporting parents to participate on advisory, policy, and decision-making bodies.
